RECIPES  MOCKTAILS 

GINGER MARGARITA

 INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cl GILI ginger elixir
  • 6 cl tequila or a DIY 0% alcohol tequila alternative (to replace the tequila)
  • 2 cl agave syrup
  • 1/2 lime juice (fresh)
  • Sparkling water or GILI sparkling ginger lemonade
  • Crushed ice
  • Tajín mix for garnish

HOW TO

  1. Mix tequila, GILI ginger elixir, agave, and fresh lime juice in a large cocktail shaker.
  2. Shake vigorously with ice for 10 seconds.
  3. Strain into a rimmed cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.
  4. Top it off with sparkling water or GILI sparkling ginger lemonade. Enjoy!

DIY 0% TEQUILA:

  1. 1 cup of pineapple juice (for sweetness)
  2. 1/4 cup of lime juice (for tanginess)
  3. 1/4 cup of orange juice (for a citrusy touch)
  4. 1/4 cup of water
  5. 1/2 teaspoon of agave syrup or honey (for a hint of sweetness)

Mix all ingredients together.


TIP BY CHEF ENZO:

To make a pitcher of margaritas, multiply the ingredients by 6. Only add the sparkling water/ginger lemonade when serving in glasses.

Rub a lime wedge around the top opening to rim your cocktail glass and dip it into the Tajin mix.

Leave out for an alcohol-free cocktail (mocktail).
